CLK350 Coupe 2008
MultiFunction reading "---"

I just bought my 2008 CLK350 coupe on Thursday of last week it is now tuesday, yesterday monday i realized the station was not changing from the steering wheel and the command does not turn off after removing the key like it should. In the navi, audio and phone menus on the multifunction will say please wait after being turned on then changes to "---" after a few minutes. also when trying to set up navigation it says that i am in an area where turn by turn directions are not availabe. I took it back to where i bought it from they connected the scanner to it and it was saying the battery had low voltage which we checked and is fine. I now have an appointment to take the car back to them on thursday to take to Mercedes to get checked out. As of right now all the paper work has not been signed for the car so it wouldn't be too big of a hassle to return the car and get something else, my question is, is this the start of something big messing up on the car or is it an easy fix. I would need to decide today if I am returning the car tomorrow or not and don't want to make such a drastic decision with out knowing if it is something simple. Please Help

What was the battery voltage? It should be 12.6v at rest, drop to no lower than 11v during cranking, and then stay around 14v at idle. Erratic or low voltage can cause all sort of gremlins.

If it's not a voltage problem, then, to answer your question, this sounds liek a big problem and I'd not complete the purchase of this car.
