722.6 Transmisison
I will do than pan flush of my 722.6 transmisison soon and am looking for pan gasket and pan filter.
I went to Autohausaz and there are 2 makes of pan gasket: Elringklinger ($6.44) and Uro ($3.56). Also, they also have a gasket and filter kit from Mann ($14.14).
Which one did you guys use?

I use OEM parts only since the price difference is little compared to the quality and piece of mind you get especially when it gets to Engine+Transmission.
The OEM gasket is made by WOCO and can be found here: http://www.rmeuropean.com/Part-Numbe...Q1CmRQ4fw.aspx
The OEM filter can be found here: http://www.rmeuropean.com/Part-Numbe...SEAL3EPtQ.aspx

I prefer MB parts. In Canada, I can only get MB parts from MB dealerships and they are usually close to double (more than double sometimes) than US MB online stores like oediscountparts, parts.com, etc.
EG:. I recently had to replace the drive side window switch. The parts costs $248CAN here and $142US in oediscountparts. Factoring in shipping charge and exchange rate, I still save some. I am comparing OE to OE parts.

I, for one, do not want to pay double for the same item.
Another extreme cases is fuel filter. Local dealerships (Toronto) charged $144CAN and I got it from US for $43US. It is the same part with MB packaging and part number.

But your original question was about off-brand parts, which is what I meant about paying twice as much for MB. It may be a different issue in Canada, but for something as inexpensive as a tranny filter and gasket I'll still pay dealer prices because the difference of a few bucks isn't worth my time to look online, think about shipping, etc.

I asked because like most parts, I did not know the manufacturers of these transmission parts.
In fact, we Canadians pay more for most items (electronics, cars, clothing, car parts, etc) as compared to US.
