Hi guys. Has anyone had any luck adding a chrome trunk bar to their W209's to give it more of an undated look? I love how the new E class has it stockl. It gives the car more style. I've been searching everywhere but haven't seen or found anything yet. I will buy some chrome adhesive in eBay and give it a try but that won't look too hot. Any better ideas? Pic link attached of what I'm trying to achieve. Thanks.

 

Never seen anybody try. Don't think it would be an improvement.

 

IIRC at one time a small chrome trim that goes at the base of the trunk lid was available from Shatz of Germany.
