Exclamation Anyone knows where to buy 5k W5Ws?

Hi guys,

I am looking for W209 W5Ws at 5000k, one guy had them but he seems to be gone now and ebay only lists 6k blue ones.

Any idea where I can get something like this?

I got mine from superbrightleds.com

They have 3 versions. One with 5 leds, one with 9, and one with 13.

I first got the 5 led. Then I got the 9.

It's extremely bright.

Throws no errors at all. Color temp is warm, natural and cool white.

The cool white is exactly 6k, the natural white is 5k.

I like this design because it's 360 degrees instead of just two sides like the one linked above or what other sites sell.

Thank you!!! Would you say the 9 LED is similar in brightness to the pic I posted that is on the right?

Do you have any IN CAR pics of 5 vs 9 or 9 vs 13 comparison?

As I only found this

Just bought 9 SMD, shipping was pretty expensive though so paid $29 total (10% discount code is FCY14, valid for today only), thanks!!!!!

Do you have any installation manuals by any chance?

I've had really bad luck with those type bulbs. The LEDs tend to go out. I blame it on cheap Chinese manufactuuring. I bought these:

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/s...Term=led+bulb#

They are VERY bright and have lasted almost a year now. The only problem I have is an occasional bulb error in very cold weather, but they still burn even with the error.

Are they blueish? Looks like 6k... And my main xenons are 5k.

How fast did they go out? The ones I bought I mean

I supposedly have 6K HIDs in my aftermarket quad projector headlights and my LED fog/DRL bars are also supposedly 6K, and everything matches adequately. The 9-LED SMDs began to "wink out" within a month. I have similar amber LEDs in my side markers and they are doing the same. Cheap Chinese junk!

Those are not right at all! goodness!

I will take pictures of mine tonight and upload them. I'd email them. Superbrightleds has awesome customer service. Those definitely look like warm white. Natural white is pure white. Then the cool white has a hint of blue.

Those look no better than stock bulbs..lol I'm sure you'll get it worked out, pain in the butt for sure but I think they gave ya the wrong ones.

Here are mine.

I will find the cool white one I have so that I can take a picture of that as well. It's somewhere in a box.

Got the white ones and they are 4500k, looks yellowish compared to 5k Phillips but better than before, they don't seem to have 6k anymore, only 7k according to specs, will look for alternatives.
