CLK500 Rear Window Regulator
Does any one have any experience replacing one of these in 2006-2007? Is it a job best left for the MB shop. I have ordered the part (have yet to receive) but I did take the panel off, which required taking out the back seat, but it appears that the ragtop roof mech. has to be removed to get the last panel off.

I now have the part and see that I have to unclip the rub strip on the rear fender to get at the lowest bolt on the panel.
Any one know how to unclip without bending it or breaking.

yes i used a butter knife with a piece of clothe over it so i would bend it or scratch the paint...when you get started just pay attention and you will see 3 or 4 clips that hold it so just apply twisting pressure and it will pop off on clip at a time and your clips will still be in tact do not try to pry it off with your hand as you may run the risk of bending it and snapping the clips
