Smile Rear bumper bar replacemnet ..

Hi im new here and im in need of a rear bumper bar replacement and have no clue about pricing and what not
The bumper bar is a 2004 clk 240 and i have a 2003 clk 240? I dont know if that matters on fitting the car or not?
Is $600 for a reconditioned and unpainted a good price?
Also curious on the other costs such as painting it chrome trim and assemble? Thank you!!

Also wondering if any other clk coupes rear bumper bars would fit ?

First of all, I assume you are not in the USA, since the CLK240 was not sold here, so please update your forum user's profile with your location (at least country). Here in the USA, repairing a rear bumper cover (and I assume you mean the painted plastic cover over the underlying metal bumper) would cost around US$1,000, including the aftermarket replacement part. My front bumper needs repainting due to rock chips. I was quoted $500 just for the paint work, and that's with me removing the bumper and delivering to the shop.

As for cross-mode/year fit, there should be no issues there. Just make sure you get the proper one in terms of the more aggressive looking "sport" version or the standard "luxury" version. Actually, either will fit, but you'll want to match the looks of the side rocker panels and front bumper.

The AMG or sport/Avantgarde style will fit, though you may not like the looks without the other body parts to match. Also, the tailpipe may not match up properly. Yes, a used salvage part will likely be the least cost option, especially if you find on e int he same color that needs no painting; you can then just bolt it in place.
