Thanks.
I see 2 connections, one at the end (near the window) and one near the outer edge. The one near the outer edge seems difficult to connect. I will try.

The only connection is towards the window. You basically pop it out starting at the outer edge then pull it towards you to unplug it (away from the window). Just go pull on it haha. It comes off without any tools.

Thanks. I don't really have to remove the whole blinker. I see a brown spot inside and I just want to clean it up. Not sure if this is rust, the side mirror housing should be plastic.

no No No, there is a screw holding it in. You tilt the glass foward at the top the remove the retaining wired holding the glass in. Three T10 screws hold the mirror moto in place. Removing them will expose the one T10 screw holding the light. If you try to pry it out you will break the fixture. The previouse writer it talking about the marker light not the mirror light. Just repaired my mirror and now know how it works. Dealer wanted $150 for mirror with back blare, purchases glass and gluded it in doe $15 buck.

Hahahah what hole and what screw? I'll post a video tonight of me ripping it off my mirror without tools.
Jokes aside...maybe a design change over the years?

Hmm ok. I'll take a picture later so we can clarify this. Maybe they added the screw so they're not so easy to steal. That seems like a pain to get to.
