So after a long hard look for cars, I come across this amazing car which you all should know the clk. Due to my age I am pretty much limited to the choices of the 200 and the 270. After a lot of research on this forum I have decided on the reliable 270, I have managed to my self a 2004 270cdi elegance 112000 with a amg sport kit fitted to it for £2800. Ok now what I need your guys help with!
Slight whining noise on cold morning guessing after some research it is either the alternator pulley or a small hole in the intercooler but I'm no expert so I would like to hear if any uk members have had this issue and how much it cost to solve at your local indie!






I don't dare show the back it's had some awful amg badges put on it which need ripping off!

 

The whining could be something simple like a bad idler or tensioner pulley on the belt.

 

Congrats on the CLK270. The engine in that is an absolute machine! I had an 04' E270 and it had just ticked over 400,000kms when I sold it. Never had any issues with it!
