I'm stuck in bed for another week or so due to a pinched nerve. This is an original piece from Mercedes that install behind the front seats to stop wind buffering in the front seats. I'm not sure if they were O.E. or an option but it does make a noticeable difference. When I get mobile I'll gets some pics. You can see them on E Bay in varying condition priced between $100 and $300. I'll sell to Forum members for $150. I traded the CLK 500 (2005) for a 2008 S 450 just this past weekend so can't use the deflector anymore.

Sorry to hear you're stuck in bed - that truly sucks.
I did a little research. Now I think I understand what those spring loaded buttons are on the side next to the back seat. That's certainly a lot more complicated windscreen than what I had on my old Z4 ( and probably, necessarily so). I'll check with my CFO and see if she is interested.

On top o the complications you noticed it also folds in half for storage in the bag. Your owners manual showed the format for installation. The 209 is completely different from the 208 type.
