My wife's 2009 CLK550 has been in the shop since June to replace the hydraulic pump. Put the pump in ($2700.00) did not fix the problem. Put new hoses on ($400.00) did not fix. rebuilt the cylinders or rams did not fix. The system stops working when it starts to lift the window and the case cover.
3 months in the shop need help.

I took to the shop I bought the car from. I have had the car about a year. The shop deals mostly in imports.

Sounds like a limit switch is the culprit.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
It's hard to say which limit switch might be the problem without getting the codes from the top controller module. If your shop does not have SDS or another proper scan tool that can read these codes, I'd find one that does. Otherwise, you'll keep spending money by throwing parts at it.
