E Coupe
I had a chance to ride in a 2014 E350 Coupe this weekend. I did not like the E Coupe when it first came out but MB did an excellent job in the mid cycle facelift.
When I was sitting in the car, I kept comparing it to my CLK320 and I was impressed. Unfortunately, I did not get to drive the car but the ride was excellent. Interior is elegantly finished with great materials.
What do you guys, as w209 owners, think of this car?

My wife has an 2012 e 350 coupe, she loves it, she had an 06 clk350 previously. The car is very nicely made. But it being white with beige interior its def a female car. I dont like to drive it. I think i drove it twice in a year and a half

I love the refresh and the exterior. Interior is nice as well. The ride is great. A buddy of mine has a 14, but he's had a lot of issue with interior wood cracking

I think it's a nice looking car, but it sucks that there's no AMG E63 coupe. If there was, I'd be all over that car.
Looking for a C63 coupe instead.

The new C Coupe (2017), with its 240HP, is suffice for my purpose. As a daily commute, fuel economy is a consideration for me as well.

I like the post facelift E Coupe better because of the interior upgrade. However, my 2004 CLK320 has very low miles and I love the soft lines and look of the C209's still. The E550 Coupe with the Bi Turbo is very impressive and with a tune can be one hell of a car.

Same for my w209' we had CLK320 and CLK500 in the beginning. Then we had CLK350 and CLK550. I only learnt about CLK200 in Europe in this forum.

The current C Coupe (2015) has 4 offerings in Canada: C250, C350, C350 4-matic, C63.
According to my readings, the new C Coupe will have the same engines as C sedan. So, I would think the choices are probably C300, C450 and C63.
Assuming the price of a C300 C Coupe is similar to a C Sedan, price of a 2017 C300 Coupe will be similar to a 2014 E350 Coupe with comparable options.
I will have to make a decision soon. Not easy at all.

Decision is more complicated for me. there is a chance I would keep the car for many years. So, fit-and-finish and fuel consumption are certainly important factors. Also, I will have to avoid options which are high maintenance like airmatic, etc.
Before my current MB, I used to keep my vehicles (Honda, Toyota...) for 3-4 years. With this w209, I have been driving it for 11 years and surprisingly, the car still drives great.
