2009 CLK 550 Cab
Ride Height
Anyone know where I can find standard ride height for a 2009 CLK 550 Cab? I am the second owner of this car and it appears the front end has been lowered. I've search online but haven't found this spec anywhere. TIA

Check the front springs very closely for breaks about 3 to 4" from the bottom. You have to look very closely because the broken piece always seems to be under what's left of the spring resulting in a slightly lower ride height.

Thanks for the info. I'll measure and check the springs. Also, the left front tire has been rubbing on the front fender liner. Looks like there may have been some front end damage by the prior owner, but the rubbing appears to be new. Anyone seen this tire rubbing issue before? I've got the AMG front spoiler which seems to have been poorly attached to the original bumper. Trying to find out if this component is installed by Merc or by AMG? I've got it on a lift and front bumper removed so hopefully I'll learn more today. Thanks again!
