I am currently stationed in Korea, but my 2005 CLK55 black/black is in storage in Los Angeles. I have been bored and trying to get some mods for my car so when I'm done with this short tour (one year) I can come back and throw on some mods.
Before I left I did:
Huge maintenance
KnN drop in filters
CF front lip (forums)
CF rear diffusor (forums)
smoked sidemarkers (forums)
35% window tint all around 70% ceramic tint front windshield
X-pipe to replace resonator
secondary cat delete
So far while I've been away I have ordered:
HnR front and rear sway bars (new on forums)
CF trunk spoiler(used forums)
facelift grill (planning on painting everything but the MBZ star gloss black)
CF AMG license plate frame(used forums)
AMG keychain (OEM found on ebay for 20$, yes, I know I am bored)
Authentic silver BBS LM 19x8.5 19x9.5 w/tires (craigslist, had local friend check them out and pick them up. Need refinishing pretty bad. planning on gloss anthracite w/ highly polished lip and red BBS centercaps. hoping to be able to fit reverse mount for deeper dish/way more aggressive fit)
Future mods: (when I get back unless I find a really good deal)
Bilstein PSS9 coils
Quad Xenon headlights (has halogens =/ 6k)
Full black suede headliner and pillars + paint all interior plastic black
Replace entire sound system (speakers w/ standalone amp + 1 10" sub hopefully custom fit so it doesn't take trunk space+amp)
Paint calipers red to match BBS centercaps
Replace all interior lights with LEDS + license plate lights (AZNoptics is amazing)
Planning on leaving impact strips around car chrome for now, as well as badges. Will leave AMG badge, but remove CLK55...
I like the pre-facelift tail lights, but still open to facelift upgrade.
Now for the fun part...What else is there to do? Am I missing anything big?
I will probably do a EuroCharged tune after a while, wanted headers, but dont know about emissions

YES, I love cars and sell them when I get bored...Ive loved the w209 for a long time and am hoping on keeping this car forever. Eventually I'll get a second car (will be stationed in maryland next)

Go with another Prior Design Kit! They have a few awesome upgrades for the CLK w209! They have two different 3 piece kits (front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper) as well as a killer wide body kit if you have the money!
We also offer an ECU upgrade for your car as well! You can have the ECU sent to us.

I googled a lot of ways last time. Tried it myself, and didnt like the end result. Took it to a car interior upholster shop and got it all done. I did all the labor (removed headliner and pieces and put everything back in) they charged me 420$ including parts. Had on car for a year before I sold it and never chipped, faded, or had any issues.
