a huge thud from the front over bumps
So last night I took the car out and I notices something very strange . When going over bumps there is a loud thud from the front . I have a 2004 clk convertible so I don't know if it's a top flexing or what but it was very weird never heard it before

I cannot imagine any top flexing being described as a thud. But I also can't imagine not having a better sense where the sound is coming from. You can't tell if it is coming from the suspension vs. the top?

I had people in the car and they where saying the top but I could swear it was from behind the dash . And it happens from right or left side . If I hit a pot hole on the right I hear it on the right and left same thing.

I recently had sway bar bushings replaced for a similar situation. Not a convertible but you could hear and feel the thud. I also was recently tracking down a "rattle". I thought it was coming from the front right of the car, my SIL thought it was from the rear. He was right. It is difficult to tell sometimes where sounds originate when the source is connected directly to the frame.
In lieu of more descriptive info from you or someone having experienced the same problem, I would visually check bushings.

When I got the car 2 weeks ago . I had it inspected and they told me that the lower control arms bushing will need replacing soon. It was 78 degrees then . Now it's 45 to 50 . Do you think that the temperature plays a role ? I am going on tuesday to the mechanic to have them look it over .
Temp plays a role because metal expands and contracting. Sometimes noises go away and are temp sensitive. How many miles on the car? The 209 has similar suspension to the 203 and parts do wear down pretty quick due to the weight of the cars.
