Wheel arch plastic covers
Hi eveyone,
I have a 2006 clk55amg convertable, I noticed the plastic wheel arch covers on the two rear arches have a sort of carpet like material stuck onto the underside of the plastic arches, possibly to cut down on noise caused by stones being flung onto the plastic arches, do any of yours have the same material used as on mine, even if its on other clk models?

Dirt traps for me - esp this time of year. Spend five hours detailing the car, and one spin through the neighborhood and the rear wells have collected every leaf & twig along the way!

Be careful about spraying water in the right/passenger rear wheel well. A lot of expensive plumbing and sensors for the evaporate system are behind the wheel arch cover.
