I assume you know where the subwoofer is on the convert? It's in that box under the rear center armrest. You can't actually see it even if you remove it, so I don't know what size it is. But you can get it out in 10 minutes and open the box and look. I've never seen a pic of what it looks like in there.

I did exactly that . I measured the inside of the speaker ( Foam To Foam ) and 5.5 and the out side and its 6" . Which measurement do i go with ? Also i ordered some 6.5 shallow component speakers for the front . are the rear also 6.5? i just want to make sure before i order them . Thanks yidney

No idea on the proper way to measure speaker size. I'm sure the vendor can tell you. I grew up with cars with a single speaker AM radio. It has never occurred to me to upgrade a sound system. But on the rear speakers, what are you talking about? There are speakers near the back of the doors, but not in the rear besides the subwoofer.

But if your question is whether the speakers in the rear of the door are the same size as the speakers in the front of the door, I'm 99% sure the answer is yes. I had mine out recently, and they sure looked the same size. The only difference was the ones in front had a tweeter in them.

Yes I meant by the rear of the door . Thanks . I don't want to change the speakers but since I am putting in a new head unit I have to add an aftermarket amp . And oem speakers run on 2 ohms . And no aftermarket amp can power 2 ohm . So I have to change them all out.

2002 clk430/2001 e320 both silver
All aftermarket amps will run 2 ohm stereo if they are of good quality. If it will bridge at 4 ohms it will run 2 ohm stereo. 35 years in audio. In clk you should get a deck with 3 sets rca and use that to power amp that's factory. Get 4 volt output on rca
