Question W209ers please chime in

I just noticed reading the smaller print on the inside of my fuel filler door that it says use only Michelin. Strange becuase my car came with Pzero's and I had the dealer switch them to Michelin's and I know they did not change the sticker.

Does everyones 209 say this. Look closely its in small print

I found out that CLK500's tires has two types of brand. One is Pirelli Pzero Rosso and the other is Michelin Pilot Sport. Anyone know why MB does this?

Auto manufactures usally approve one or sometimes two specific brands of tires as original equipment. MB does save money on CLK 500's with Pirellis as they are about $30-$40.00 per tires cheaper than the Pilot Sports.
