if you press the red and blue temp. buttons at the same time, temp will reset to 72 degrees.
thats the only one I know, so i'll be checking back regularly.

If you apply light pressure to the brake pedal, your front brakes will make a high pitched squeak that will scare off any birds nearby and clear the road for uninterrupted driving pleasure.

Brake squeal
That is one of the most repetitive problems with the W209. If you fight hard enough, the rotors and pads both should be replaced under WARRANTY. There is known problem with the brakes in the front. After I complained 4 times, I got the work done RIGHT, and hence no more scaring the crap out of the birds.

I had the same squeak problem...
The front pads and rotors where replaced... and the problem seems to have gone away...
I share the same concern though... can the problem return with the new parts? They are the same as the parts that came with the car...

If you hold down the air circulation button, it will close all windows and the sunroof at once.
The trunk will pop back open if you close it with the key inside the trunk. (not sure if this is only keyless go)
btw- is this brake problem common on the 209? I thought I was the only one with this problem.

Dynometer Mode
With ignition key in position1 and outside temp display showing in speedo screen, press rest button quickly three times. Switches into dyno mode - use up and down keys to scroll thru info on software identity, vin no. instrument no, hardware number, and oil level in litres (switch to ign pos 2 to see values)
Can also switch off electronic aids (ABS,ESP etc ) for use on rolling road only !!

Slk 230 & CLK500
I have had some problems with mine & my dealer has been great. But kind of worried as my dealer changes hands on 3/1/04 from a family run dealership to a corporate one.
