I purchased 2 sets of error free led bulbs for the reverse lights . but when i install them and put the car in reverse they keeps going on and off . i tried 2 different kinds with the same results . what could be causing this issue ?

 

Try reversing the polarity of the bulbs or put in some resistors.

 

On and off is when the circuit is trying to test the bulbs and coming back as failed. As said above, try them both directions, or add resistors to correct the error lights.

When you say 2 kinds, different brands? Possibly they aren't the correct resistance.

Make sure they say "can bus" on them, those are the ones for the smart circuits that detect bulbs out.
