Replacing keyless go door handle

You ill need to remove the door panel. The insulation panel is adhered using a pliable adhesive that will likely stick back in place. Careful not to get it on your hands it's like tar and makes a mess.

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll try it tomorrow. Do you know if it’s going to be an easy access once I remove the door panel and insulation?

It's mostly be feel. Actually, the door handle can be removed completely from the outside without KeylessGo, but with it, you need the panel off to properly deal with the wiring.

Mine seems to do the same thing. I've even had both buttons on the driver's door handle only lock the car, which still happens sometimes and it still confuses me. I've only got my keyless convertible top operation to work a couple times since owning the car, and even then the process gets interrupted once or twice.
Edit: I figured it out: just be within a few feet of the door, point the key fob at the car and hold unlock for 3-5 seconds to start going down. Must hold all the way. Same for lock button for windows up and top up. Awesome feature, a pain to get in the car to do it, especially because my trunk partitioner switch is a little wonky. I have the struts on order for like $32 to fix it.
