engine noise aftermarket headunit . please help
After installing new headunit and amp I am getting this terrible engine noise and whine when I hit the peddle or when the car is on . No matter if I choose radio cd or SD card. Even when the music is off I hear it . I took the unit out and when I unplug the rca cables it goes away right away . I tried grounding the rca cables to the head unit but no luck . I bought rca ground loop filter and it actually made it worse. Where do I go from here ? BTW using a 8 gage power and ground cable from pyle.

More details on the install. Where are you getting power for the head unit? Did you run the RCAs on the same side as the power to the amp?
There are a couple of options but if you only get noise when the car is on then you're looking at alternator/power noise issues.

I ran the power cable on the right side ( passenger side ) and the Rca on the left ( driver side ) . The headunit came with a wire harness that plugs into my stock radio harness . I went into my car today and i realized something if i push the start and stop buttom once without my foot on the brake keeping the engine off its fine . If i press the start and stop button twice without my foot on the brakes and engine is off the buzzing sound comes up right away .
