AC Fan keeps running...

Hello everyone, I got some weird problems on my AC, hope some of you can help on this

One day I tried to replace with new audio player on my W209. after I done every thing then I found there are hot air coming out under the dash, the air is blowing strong and hot.

At the same time the AC is working and blowing nice cold air but weak air flow.

OK so I tried to restart and test my AC with pressing the two buttons (You know what I'm talking if you had read Rudney Thread) The testing went fail and some click click sounds comes up from the front dash. OK so I shut off my car, then I hear the AC Fan keeps running with top speed but still blowing with weak air flow. Either I shut off my AC control but the Fan still keeps running hard, the fan only stop in 10sec after I shut down my car.

So now when I turn on my car, the fan keeps running hard with weak air flow, but there is hot air coming out under the driver side. The AC control can't do anything. LOL

I think I might need SRS hook it up with my car to find out what problem is or to restart the whole AC system.

I just want to share this with everyone and if anyone had similar experienced please share with me.

Plus what I can if I found my car is having weak air flow? I know my AC is nice and cold, and now I know the fan is running strong too, but is there any other fan inside the dash?

Any comments or advise are welcome... cheers!!

The fan stays on because of high coolant temps or refrig temps(reported by the sensors)---first make sure ther is a good connection at the fan connector and or you have a faulty sensor>

And yes you are smart to quickly find a star hookup to define the problem rather that spending time and monry on parts that may not solve the problem!!

Since you removed the center stack to get to the radio, is it possible you missed connecting a wiring harness on the back of the ACC panel?

Check for bent pins on the connector. It should snap in place and hold tight.

Hi Rudeney, I reinstalled everything on weekend but still the same problem, I will take it to mechanic today to get some help, I'm wondering is it one of my air supply fan in the dash wasn't working so the AC Fan is keep running? or software problem?

I'm not sure, but if your mechanics has SDS or other diagnostic tools that can talk to the ACC, hopefully we'll know!
