Data card

Hi Guys,

I've searched around and I can't find a site/link to get the data card for my CLK. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

You need EPC to get your data card. You lookup the car by VIN. There is an online version of EPC that MBUSA offers, there is also a Ukrainian site here (Google Chrome's translate feature is helpful):

http://www.auto-parts.spb.ru/cat/cat...&client=dr2000

Or, post your VIN and those of us with access to our own copies of EPC can help.

Thanks for the responses guys. I tried the link you gave Rodney, but it didn't give much info. Here's my VIN:
WDBTJ65J15F139944

Thanks in advance, I appreciate it.

My EPC stops with MY2011, so I used the "Russian" ECP site to do this. SOrry for some of the odd translations:

Hi, just bought a 2006 CLK vin WDBTK56G16T064109

It is a basic model, I have spent way too much money on my MBs in the past.

Being a MY2006, the engine will definitely be in the range for potential balance shaft failure. Of course it may never fail. or maybe it was previously replaced.

Anyhow, here's the data card:

Thank you very much. It's at 80000 miles but was in the MB dealers for service at 79,000
Going to try to see what has been done.

I am looking to upgrade the wheels to 18 inch, I noticed in the data card there was no mention of a TPMS.

I find the low tire pressure system was a $275 option back in 2006, perhaps I don't have this installed? Would make buying new tires and wheels easier.

The TPMS doesn't use any special monitoring equipment, it only measures discrepancies in the speed of tyre rotations against your calibration (that you set).
I cannot see how the TMPS installed in our cars would affect purchasing of bigger wheels and tyres.

Your car has no hardware-based TPMS so no worries about dealing with that when swapping tires or rims.
