Came with iPod connection
My 2006 CLK 350 cabriolet came with a connector to an iPod. I am the last person in the USA to finally get an iPod, got a generation 4 special edition Red and chrome model with 20 GB hard drive.
My other cars use a USB thumb drive to hold about 14 GB of music.
But I only can access 99 songs from 2 albums, and I don't know how to get to the other albums.
So the dumb question is, how do you organize the iPod so the albums can be accessed from the steering wheel pads?

So I assume this is the factory integration kit where you connect the iPod, put the radio into AUX mode, and then all the display and control is via the instrument cluster MFD and steering wheel buttons. If not, then this is some sort of aftermarket setup. Here is a brochure that may help if you have the factory interface (see page 18):

+1,
In fact, if you have the older 14 Pin, you can get the lightening connector adaptor from apple to use your iPhone ( which allow you to scroll thru your play list or Pandora ) or connect an iPhone ready Bluetooth ( scrolling does work with this )
I think they also sell the micro charger adaptor for androids too

OK, that's an aftermarket system. The factory system replaces the AUX input on the Audio menu. Basically, there is no "integration" with the radio itself - it just thinks it's playing an an analog AUX input signal. It is only controllable by the steering wheel buttons and displays track info only on the instrument cluster MFD.
Aftermarket systems usually replace and emulate the CDC. I have an aftermarket "mCar" unit in my CLK that works this way. It allows for Bluetooth hands-free phone interface and iPod on track and playlist display on the COMAND radio screen. I'm not sure what you have, but I suspect it might be similar. Look at http://mcar.us and see of their documentation helps any.
