Is it just me or my ride got a little stiffer when I installed it.

Did you put more negative camber?

Hmm, that does sound strange.

I put factory Camber and Caster kit, to take out the excessive Neg Camber and fix the dreaded off Caster built into our cars.

It did not change my car's ride.

I'm not on the positive. My RR camber is -1.1, LR is -1.0. Maybe I should put some more white lithium grease on it. I also got new tires.

did you switch brand tires to something with maybe a stiffer design, have you check the air pressure in the tires?

I replaced it with the same size and brand tires. It's just weird that it feels stiffer. I also checked the air. When it was replaced, they put 41 psi. I dropped it to 32.

I did the same mod a couple of years back.
The wheels stay more perpendicular than with the stock design.
Of course even running 41 PSI on pillows would give a rocking ride

No. I changed the psi before I started this thread. I'm waiting for wheel locks. When it comes in, going to pull the wheels and put more lube on the camber kit and see if it helps.

the lube just stops the polyurethane bushing from squeaking.

Hmm. If that's the case, maybe I should just change the springs to eibach.

you changed the springs to? I thought you just did camber kit and tires. What suspension are you running?

I'm running stock suspension. What I was trying to say is that maybe I should just lower my car if my suspension is this stiff. I was thinking of putting lube on the camber kit because I assumed the camber kit moves with the suspension. It should, right?

they pivot a little. Are you sure none of the suspension is way over tightened where maybe it doesnt want to pivot freely?

I think maybe I installed the camber too tight? I'll keep it in the garage till next week when I get a chance to take off the rear wheels. Plus I just got my touch up paint. Going to work on that while I'm not driving it.

I'm confused. You added the camber kit to reduce negative camber but you're running a stock suspension? The stock suspension is fully capable of adjusting to the neg 1.8 degrees of rear camber, and neg .7 degrees of front camber and doesn't need a camber kit. Lowering the car will only stiffen the suspension.

I'm running stock with 19" wheels. 265x30r19. I had to add the kit. It was eating up my tires.

Thanks for all the ideas. I'll pull the wheels and check everything next week. Hopefully it's just that I'm so used to driving my truck.

After driving my car for a while, I had come to realize that because I replaced my wife's tires on her BMW from runflats to conti's her ride is much softer than my Benz. That's because of my 19" wheels. Lol. Getting old sucks.
