Window Rattle and Squeaks!?

2004 CLK 500 convertible
CLK door rateling issue FIXED
Hi Guys,
I found the issue with the rattling on the CLK doors.
I have a 2004 CLK 500 convertible and had the issue with the doors rattling over bumps. I looked at these posts to see how I can take the door panel off. After taking the door panel off I found that the door regulator screw is missing.
Please note: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR DOOR PANEL TO FIX THIS ISSUE!!!!!
under the door there are two round rubbers. Take out the larger one and you will see a screw to hold the bottom of the window regulator.

You are either missing a #10 nut or a loose one.

put a metal washer under the nut.

CLK 200 COMPRESSOR (A209)20O505
I have the same problem ,CLK 200 ,A209 cabrio , . When the driver's window is fully up , there is rattling sound , like glass on metal, every time the car passes over a road bump anomaly.
The sound decreases if i lower the window for 1 cm and left it open, and stops totally when i lower the window for 2 cm or more.
I just show your solution , but i believe this is the case . Any way thanks a lot for your post and fotos. I let you know when i examine my door. Thanks again.
