I wanted to add a subwoofer in the trunk but being a convertible I want to see if it made a difference in sound for anyone especially with the top down . I am not looking to go crazy just want to get some more bass .

Not convertible but I have 2 10" in the back. Took up a lot of space. Unless ur doing 1 speaker, then get ready for smaller space. Lol

no not going that big . trunk in the convertible is already small . I want to do 1 8" or 1 10" . in the coupe there is an opening between the trunk and the interior . in the convertible there isn't .

I don't have a convertible but thought about adding a Infinity Basslink to the trunk. Would be easy to hook into the existing HK sub for signal and rear SAM for power. Not much space lost.

Yes I added a self powered Bazooka in the trunk.
Harmon Karmin system.
It made a quality difference.

Yes, I converted the spare wheel well to a custom subwoofer box. The HK wasn't enough for me. It's a single 12w6v3 powered by a 500/1 and it's quite audible with the top down.
