Black is the best color.

It's 20%, gets very hot here in Florida. Wheels are 19x8.5F and 19x9.5R with Dunlop SP Sport 9000's, which are hands down the QUIETEST tires I have ever owned. Black/Black

i've had the car for about 18 months and this is the second time it has been waxed and it was long overdue. i'm not sure what the difference is between waxing and polishing.

Waxing - puts a very fine clear layer on top of the paint.
Polishing - like sand paper, sands down a very fine layer of the clear coat or paint off depending on the car's paint.

Yup, but than again, polish is a term that is not used correctly these days, a lot of companies refers it as waxing as well, quite confusing so watch the labels, and check that it's not describing that it's sanding the paint away!

Ho

Very nice. Love the wheels! Looks awkward without a moderate drop though. Look into some Springs. Any more pics btw...

There's a little more to it than that...

Both waxes and polishes can contain a cleaner. Some cleaners are chemical and others are abrasive (like fine sand paper). If you want a 1-step solution then a cleaner-wax or a cleaner-polish or a cleaner-polish-wax is the way to go. It's all applied in one step.

A pure wax applies a protective layer to the paint to protect it from the elements. This also enhances the shine.

A pure polish adds oils to the paint to enhance the shine, fill swirls and keep it fresh and from drying out.

The multi-step solutions require that you first clean the paint with something like a clay bar or a mild abrasive or a chemical cleaner. Then you polish the car to fill in swirls and bring up the shine, then you wax to protect the finish from the elements.

Very nice, but I agree about the drop. Even in Black, the excessive tire-febder gap looks odd and detracts from the look improvement of the wheels. I'd personally skip a spring job unless you see something suggesting how it will actually look; I initially put Brabus springs on my car and barely saw a change (ride felt slightly firmer though) in the height and hated it. I ended up switching to coilovers. Obviously JMO
