Distronic confused

If I am on the freeway and approach a car in the lane to my right Distronic hits the brakes, if I am passing a car in the lane to my left if functions correctly.
This was new this morning so I am not sure if a restart will clear it up.
Has anybody else experienced this.

It is probably misaligned. It has adjustments, but the "official" method requires special tools. Honestly, if it was me, I'd try a bit of trial and error manual adjusting. Worst case, you get to so out of alignment you have to take it to the dealer for them to use their tools.

I would try but I just don't know where it is that the adjustments would be made. Rudney can you point me in the right direction.

Rudney;

I changed the discs and pads on the brakes could I have done something in that process to cause the distronic to lose it mind.

I can't see that as an issue. They are not related.

I didn't think so but these cars have so many intertwined systems I decided to ask. it just happened so quickly, immediately after the brake job.
