Access to Locked Boot/Trunk with Key Inside It
My roadside assistance was very competent. I think he may have had some notes on their system.
He put an air bladder in between the windows in order to get a rod through and pull the opposite door handle twice. Quite a bit easier with the pillar less design.
When inside, pull the left speaker cover up on the parcel shelf, lift the foam, remove the speaker, and with the holes in the metal work, you can find and pull on the wire for the latch of the folding seats. Thus allowing access to the trunk, absolutely no damage incurred at all.
Just a note if it were to ever happen to anyone else on here... Hopefully not!
It's good that newer cars with bluetooth keys won't let you close the trunk with the key in there. I know...I tried accidentally
