Center dash speaker

My speaker located in the center of the dash board is sounding raspy. I have a new Plyle 3.75" aluminum bullet titanium horn tweeter. These are high end and fit the opening perfectly. Unlike the OEM that has 2 terminals in and 2 terminals out, the Plyle aftermarket is just like any other speaker I have seen with just a + and - marking the only 2 terminals. The OEMs do not designate. Will I need a crossover (capacitor)? How should the Pyle (by wire color) be wired in?

I thinks that speaker is basically a 2 way speaker . Not a tweeter . If your running any tweeter you will need a capacitor. BTW pyle and hi end don't go hand in hand . If you want a good speaker go with kicker
