LOOKING for Hydraulic Lifter DIY

Hi Guys, maybe i'm typing in the wrong search word but can't seem to find a DIY for the lifter and how to check which lifter is bad. And parts needed. Cant stand the ticking sound. Btw, is it bad to drive with a bad lifter? Thanks in advance.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
The long term repercussions can range from "annoying noise" to "coming apart and taking out other expensive parts along the way". If you want to do this, i suggest you get your own copy of WIS. It can be found on eBay for about $30.
