Frustration w/ MBUSA

I hired a lemon law attorney in October 2003 to try to get MBUSA to buy back my 2001 C320 sedan. Finally, they sent a written offer with the settlement terms earlier this month. Now, they are just dragging their feet even more and I want to pick up my CLK and be rid of this car!!! ARGH!

What issues were you having with the car?

My car was taken to the dealer 39 times for various issues. I had 2 transmissions replaced, the coolant bottle cracked 4 times in one month, light bulbs would burn out all the time, my car would just stall at a stop light, my keys would go dead, etc... I think I'm crazy for getting another Mercedes.

Wow sounds as if you might have an intermittent short somewhere causing the eletrical glitches. I'd be a bit weary too and wait for the 05's just to be sure.

I talked to the dealer that I'll be getting the car from and they can lock in my interest rate and the MF for 10 days if I sign all the paperwork tomorrow. Yay.

July production should start the 05 production for the clk. All issues have NOT been resolved with the 04s...at least not with mine. Rent a car for 4mos its worth it especially with all the changes due for the 05s.

2004 CLK320
First of all, I now have almost 15,000 KM in my 2004 CLK320 Coupe and I have absolutely no problem with it. It drives great and looks good.

Now, I am not familiar with the lemon law. I am not sure if we have this law in Canada. Did you loose money for MB to buy it back?

CLK 500
How much does MBUSA give for a lemon...
I have a clk500 that is a lemon, but before I proceed I would like to have an idea of how much they depreciate the car.

Its a 2003 CLK 500 with 15K miles... any thoughst % wise...

Yeah. The stock wheels are the suck. My friend is getting a CLK55 and he's going to get HRE wheels so I'll take his stock wheels.
