Mercedes clk 200 kompressor
Change amplifier or cd/nav/phone player?
Hi! i just bought a clk w209 200 kompressor with the bose-comand system 2 dim player and i can hear that the sound isn't what it should be, and i am leaning towards changing the amplifier because the sound is good for a few brief seconds from time to time.
anybody got any ideas and can help me find the amplifier so i can look at it and check if it is wprking properly?

NO LONGER ACTIVE
The Bose amp is in the trunk. Changing just the amp will be challenging since it's a fiber optic connection from the head unit. It would actually be easier to replace the entire system - head unit and all.
