How to bring back bass in stereo system

I noticed that my speakers are barely putting out anymore bass. What could I do you bring it back? Side note I haven't driven my car in a year so maybe it's an electrical issue?

Check the sound settings on your radio. It is probably in the "AM Radio" mode.

well, first press radio, then press the button under AUD. It will first take you to BASS, you can then adjust the bass by either going - or +.

Your car is ten years old. The foam surrounding your subwoofers has probably deteriorated. There are kits available that you can purchase and repair the speaker by cleaning the original speaker and installing new foam and gaskets on the speaker. It is like having a new speaker for a very small price. It just takes some work getting to your subwoofer, removing them from the car and doing the work yourself. go to www.simplyspeakers.com and check out the info there.
