Baby seat conundrum
Hi :-)
Trying to plan a trip this saturday but will have a baby onboard.
We are four people though and I would really like to take the CLK.
With four people + baby the problem is there is not enough seating.
So a random question... is it possible to fit a baby seat at the subwoofer's possition? (Remove subwoofer and insert baby seat)
I am guessing not because the baby seat also requires the seatbelt?
Any solutions to this or am I going with a yarris?
Or is this just not going to happen? :-)
Thank you.

Will, I'm not sure if correct baby seat install uses the belt or not. Probably, but mostly it connects to these heavy metal bars in the seat cushion crack. But I think you have a more practical problem. Unless the other two people back there are children, or you have the world's narrowest baby seat, there will be no room. Two average people back there - i assume this is a convertible since you talked about removing the subwoofer? - are nearly elbow to elbow as it is. A baby seat between them would induce a level of discomfort that would cause them to disown you.

no you can not . if it was meant as a 3rd seat you would have 3 seatbelts in the back . especially with a trip and a baby I would not take the chance . because there is no anchoring points in the middle . Best thing to do is take the clk yourself and have them go in the yarris (:
