Broke my CPS connector! - what do I need?
Changed my crank position sensor yesterday, and all went well until I tried to plug the connector back on and it wouldn't stay. Realized that the little lever part that clips over the prong on the sensor had broken off (see picture). It looks like the whole connector just clips over the end of the wires. Can I buy just the connector?

I think you need this:

EPC lists it as a 3-prong pin bushing housing. You'll have to remove the wires from the broken connector and insert them into this one. Of course in the tight space you will be working in, that won't be easy. You generally have to use a small pin to release a catch on the pin so it will pull out of the connector.

Thanks. I was hoping I did not need to splice wires, so I'm glad I don't. There is a zip tie beneath the MAF that I can cut and probably get another inch of working length on the wire. Amazing how location can turn a two minute job into a two hour job. I seriously don't know how somebody with large hands and wrists could change that sensor. Also, I noticed there appears to be a tiny sensor of some sort that goes into the back of the block right by the CPS connector. What is that?
