Question Wrapping CLK Interior

I want to wrap my wood trim in a black vinyl. Any recommendations on which brand/type of vinyl, and how much of it i should buy? Thanks.

3M 1080 vinyl. You don't need much but that depends on your wrapping skills. Take a look around and see what deals you can get on it. If you wanna see what it looks like in gloss black, take a look at my build thread.

Here's my W211 wrapped in 3M Brushed Black Metallic 1080 vinyl.
Never really enjoyed the burled walnut trim against the light grey Ash interior.

Can I ask you a question . I tried wrapping a panel but the edges always keep coming up . what did you do to make the edges stick ?

You have to go all the way around the edges, stretch the vinyl as little as you can, and most importantly, use a vinyl primer.

First of all, to do a proper job you need to remove the trim pieces from your car.
That's the only way to get the vinyl to wrap neatly around the back side.
A hair dryer or heat gun also helps conform the vinyl to complex shapes and makes for a tight bond at the edges.
Practice makes perfect - I got much better after making a few mistakes and rewrapping pieces that I didn't like the initial result.
Start with the simplest trim shapes and progress to more complex ones as your skills improve.
Here's a few videos that may help.

Thanks guys . I didnt use primer and even though i went around the edges it keeps coming up . The wrap itself looks good but some of the edges keeps coming up especially on the cigarette lighter cover.

Split the trim piece of the cig cover from the plastic backing, wrap all the way around the edges, re-attach the trim to the plastic backing with glue. It'll never come off again....I know
