Anyone know a source for replacement factory floor mats? The original have a foam backing that is coming off and grinding into the carpet.

You will need to get the proper color code. Note that there are many versions - standard, AMG, sport pkg, etc. The only difference is in the emblems. The standard mats have a stitched logo, where sport has a metal tag with "Mercedes-Benz" on it, and AMG will be a metal tag with "the AMG logo.

In case you look on eBay and other sites, note that the mats from a W203 C-Class, and the W209 CLK coupe and cabriolet are all pretty much the same. There will be very slight, almost unnoticeable differences in shape, but they will all fit just fine.

Except the metal tag is actually plastic and gets all dented up from gravel on your shoes.

Yeah I bought an eBay set for about £25. They are ribbed like the factory ones, are a nice grey to contrast my all black and silver interior, and has the foam backing, with a 5 year warranty iirc. No signs of wear yet over the last 1.5 years, front or back with almost 20,000miles. But they fit perfectly.
