Hi, I can't find the fuel filter? Removed plastic panel under car and fuel lines run all the way from the fuel tank to the engine compartment. Also looked in fuel tank. Right side is fuel pump and left side is sender unit. No sign of filter. Please help. Thanks

I cannot speak with 100% certainty about an '03, but on mine the filter is built into the sending unit in the tank. You have to buy the whole thing. I thought on some earlier models it was a traditional external filter, but since you traced the lines and found none, yours is no doubt also part of the sender.

I have a 04 clk320 and fuel filter is located left side(driver side) just b4/behind rear wheel.
fat silver canister cant miss it . And what I've noticed with 04 clk, it doesn't have a access panel like other c class.Its a long plastic undercarriage panel running from front driver side wheel to rear driver wheel.Sure its easy to remove. Im just waiting on my part to come in to knock it out.
