2004 Mercedes Benz CLK 500
Different Cutout of Rear Bumper for exhaust w209 CLK500 and CLK55? Anyone? Harris?
I was talking with Harris the other day and a question arised, and was wondering if Harris or anyone on the board knows the answer. Is the cutout for the rear bumper between the w209 clk500 and clk55 amg different? I parked my car next to a clk55 amg the other day and noticed that it seems to be that the clk55 amg has a bigger cutout for the exhaust than the clk500 that I have. But the bumpers look to be the exact same except for the cutout for the exhaust. Anyone know if this is true? BTW..Harris did you find out? Thanks!

Ben, you're right. They have different part numbers. But what is more interesting is the list price of the CLK55 bumper is USD100 less than the CLK500 AMG bumper!! Dont ask me why, ask MB!

wow what the heck, if this was the case then I should ordered my car with the AMG cutout bumper instead. Grrrrrr.
