ECU Tuning
Does anyone have good results from ECU tuning for the 55?
There's a place in Orlando that does ECU tuning for around $499 (if you go to their shop) and another $100 for the cable if you want to do it yourself via download.
Just want to know if this is worth the price in terms of performance gain, economy etc.

Is it worth it? Yeah, sure, if you get a good one. Better throttle response, slightly better economy, slightly more power. Read my review of the OE tune I posted a while ago.

As far as I know, he loves the car and really enjoys the extra throttle response and quicker shifts. He went there and got programmed for 4 or 5 hundred bucks, which I believe is very reasonable.
Just my two cents lol good luck with the car

I flashed my 55 a few months ago and every day I appreciate it more and more. Lower end torque is far better and some day I plan to visit 155+.....

My younger cousin has a CLK 55 and I sent him to AMR Performance. AMR tuned my C43 and I love it, so I send everyone that is interested in tuning to my guys over there.
