Hi! I am new here and need help with my audio system. I have got a 2005 clk 240 cab with the ipod cable in the glove box and a six CD changer. How do I connect a device to play music from sd cards? Is there any accessory out there to connect the ipod cable to other than an ipod? Thanks in advance.

 

There is no factory option to play music from an SD card. You might be able to by a Bluetooth adapter that will fit the Apple 30-pin connector, but that's about it.

 

I've seen on Ebay devices that plug into the Ipod connector and have an SD card slot on the other end. search under Mercedes Ipod connections

 

Thanks Rudeney. I figured that out. Just looking for a device that would plugin into the Ipod connector that is got a USB or SD card at the same end. It would appreciated if anyone can send me a link as I have searched Ebay and Amazon and can't seem to find it.

Just got a mail from Command UK sales rep that there is no device that meets my enquiry. The only alternative is to lose the CDC and instal a system that plays SD and USB at a cost of about £570.
