I would you to hear some of your thoughts regarding Mercs CLK 500 and the new BMW 6 series Cabriolet.
The BMW is priced at quite a premium to the CLK.
Do you think the BMW is better to be compared to the SL Class or the CLK class?

Price seems to be somewhere in between the SL and CLK cabs. I prefer both Benz's to the BMW though...
MBWorld Fanatic!
It all about personal preferrence. I like both car makers. Honestly, I had a tough choice between my CLK and the M3. But after all, i decided to go with the CLK.
Dont get me wrong, i still drool over the M3, esp the Laguna Seca blue color.

As we know BMW's are generally more focussed sports cars rather than the more relaxing grand tourer of the Mercedes...
I had a difficult choice before buying the CLK500 as I have owned both brands... Though feel I made the correct choice of balance between comfort and speed... The endless torque is real fun however adjusting to tiptronic rather than the stick shift is a challenge. Besides Mercedes has a better overall brand than BMW.
I have a little lightweight heavily modified MGF with Nitrous it has over 250BHP/Ton! It is very low, mid engined, rear drive and stick shift so can offer a very thrilling ride in the country... Though only for short distances
Still love those BMW M cars though.
