W209 heater cold all the time
W209 2008 220cdi sport.
Hi I have just purchased a w209 and the heater only blows cold. The car warms up as normal on the dash temp guage but only blows cold air. The circulating pump operates ok ( attached to the header tank) The Outside temp guage is faulty and shows 85c. Would it be the temp sensor that is stopping the heater working ?

The outside temp sensor does not control the actual heater. You have a different issue. You can search in this forum for words similar to what you used in your title and will find various discussions of issues - all hot, all cold, cold or hot from various vents, etc. Just hope it is not the various flapper doors that operate the system because some of those require removing everything but the MB emblem from your boot lid to access.
