2004 clk500 taillight issues

I have replaced both bottom left taillight bulbs on driver taillight because only one works still get the taillight substitute error on dash and only one bulb works still but what really bothers me is the passenger taillight none of the bottom lights work and it's not popping up on dash that they're not working almost like the car thinks they on replaced bulbs nothing replaced whole plate that bulbs are on still nothing,I removed the top bulb then both bottom bulbs come on on passenger taillight but soon as I put too bulb back in both bottom lights go out any clue guys what it could be?any help is greatly appreciated

Remove the tail lamp panel and all bulbs. Get some CRC electrical contact cleaner and spray all of the sockets. Then replace ALL bulbs with new ones. Because of the way the SAM works, sometimes weak bulbs that are beginning to fail will cause erroneous messages on other bulbs.
