CLK350 Bad Amp or Bad Battery? No sound/no radio power button on or off

My amp on my clk350 w 70kmiles is turning off half the time now; with an added issue: the power button on the radio will not turn off!

I was reading through some other posts here and Rudeney posted that it might be a bad battery? How do I check the voltage on the battery... is there a test in the cluster?

There is a voltmeter in the hidden menu on the instrument cluster. To access it, switch the ignition to the first position (accessory) and then scroll the display to the main screen (showing MPH or outside temp, whcihever yours is set for). Now, press the trip odometer reset stalk three times. You should here a beep and see the voltmeter displayed.

Will test tonight! Yay! I'm pretty sure Rudeney is absolutely correct about this being a bad battery issue.

It could also be bad radio. Another thing to try - press and hold the power button on the radio until it reboots. This will restart the fiber ring.
