CLK55 Partout

I picked this car up a while back with some ideas of what to do with it. I had access to free storage, decent shop space, and good tools. Long story short, I dont now. Haha. Now I'm probably moving soon, and I just wanted to strip it out. I'm going to keep a few of the parts for my clk500, and the rest you all will have first choice at. I bought this with the engine not running, so that will be parted out. The rest is in good condition. Please ask for pictures of what you want, and I'll get them to you as soon as I can.

Parts I'd like to keep (but everythings for sale at the right price):
Heads and Cams
Sunroof
Drivers side door

Parts already gone:
Front bumper/mesh/fog lights
Blower Motor
Turn Light Switch
Shift Boot and Chrome Bezel
Drivers Side Door Hangle

Parts Id like to sell as a set:
Front and Rear Interior Seats (AMG seats, heated, cooled, full bolster adjustments on both sides, rear seats have the ski/snowboard pass thru option! very rare)
Aluminum AMG Trim Package (door accents, shift accent, glove compartment accent, radio bezel)

Aftermarket Parts:
H&R Springs

Let me know what parts you want. If needed, Ill get pictures of condition, and we can work out a price thru PM.

Thanks!

Own 2005 CLK500, but drive 2011 Sienna :)
How much are the front seats and armrest lid?

PS. What kind of a lift is that? Is it dependable? I mean is it safe to work under the car?

Its a Quick Jack from Ranger. Quick Jack Thats the 5,000 pound version. They have a cheaper version that is 3,500, but with the Mercedes, I'd recommend the 5,000 pound version. They also make an extended base version, but I also work on Mini Coopers, and it was too big for those. Its very safe to work under. There is a youtube video of the stand holding something like 15,000 pounds. The first day I got it, I put a Mustang gt500 on it. That was a heavy car, and I did put jack stands under the car just as insurance. Since then, I dont think Ive every used jack stands as a backup. I feel very safe working under it. Its also got 2 heights, and the half height is sometimes perfect for detailing. I highly recommend the jack.

I PMed you about the seats and lid.

Admittedly, Ive never shipped something as big as seats before. I am sure it can be done, but Im sure the shipping costs would be quite high. Let me know if you want a quote on them tho for shipping.

The interior trim pieces are pretty small if you are just looking for the accent pieces. Or do you need some full panels?

As I mentioned, I picked it up when it wasnt running, so I cannot personally verify how it is. However, the last owner said it was fine. I believe he was on the highway when the engine gave him issues, so it should be good to go. I'm sure I'd have to drain the fluid to ship it, so I should be able to take a sample to at least see how that looks.

Wanted to pop in and vouch for 91ser - pleasure to work with and all parts came in as expected, with time included for taking the parts out of the car.

91, when you get a chance I’m looking for a quote on:
- the in-dash fuseholder
- the a/c command module in the center console
- intake solenoid (balljoint linkage)
- I’m not sure if the coyotes had the same subwoofer and speaker apparatus - is it the nose or HK on yours?

I have my eyes on a couple more serious parts but will start with these ones. Let me know what you would want for these separate/together or if anything’s off limits.

Thanks again, I’ve installed 2/3 of the parts you sent previous and they worked well! Hopefully the A/c unit and fuse holder will help with the woes I’m having with the intermittent fan at the moment.

Appreciate your help!

Thanks for the kind words! I wish I could have gotten the stuff to you earlier, so thanks for dealing with me moving the car first.

Im leaving tomorrow morning for NC (still packing of course, ha), and wont be able to get anything shipped before I leave. I will be back on the 24th if you can wait that long, and I will be able to send parts out shortly after. The in-dash fuseholder shouldnt be a problem, as well as the a/c command module. Do you have a picture of the intake solenoid? Is that the one that changes the flaps on the intake manifold? If so, I was hoping to sell the whole intake manifold complete.

I think I had the bose system in the clk55. I also have the old sound system from my clk500 which was also the bose. Do you need just the subwoofer? Or any other speakers or parts for the sound system?

PMed, yes wheels are for sale tho. I have both a 17" set and an 18" set. Both sets have worn winter tires mounted on them atm.

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the heads up on getting the parts off behind the wheel.

Still interested in a couple of the parts I reached out about last month - waiting to see if there’s anything else I can think of for one shipment.

Have you started tearing into suspension components, etc? How many miles did the car have originally if I missed it previous?

FYI to everyone else in the thread - parts were received as described and all work as intended. 91 even helped out with a pointer or two when I was pulling some things apart and wanted to make sure I wasn’t about to break anything. Lol.

I did tear into the suspension, but I didnt end up saving a whole bunch of stuff. The car had something like 135k miles on it. I have the rear differential, struts and springs (H&R). I have front and rear sway bars. I have all of the calipers (4 piston front, painted silver with AMG logo) (2 piston rears, not painted), and the front drilled rotors. I cant think of anything else off the top of my head that I kept, but none of the control arms were kept.

No problem on the help. I honestly didnt do much, except provide the link to Pelican parts DIY :P. So more thanks to them than to me.

The front drivers side seat belt is a bit worn on my CLK. If your front belts are in good shape, I'd be interested (for both).

Thanks!
