Mercedes Benz clk550
Coolant level

Hi,
I have a (probably stupid) question:
On a clk550, the coolant expansion tank has a plastic line, that you can see by removing the cap and looking inside the tank. I understand that the coolant level must align with that line. But can it go over? Is it a minimum line or a maximum? Basically, does the coolant need to go over this line or up to this line? I couldn't find a min or max line on the tank so...
Thanks in advance.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
The proper coolant level is measured when cold. It should be even with the seam in the tank between the light and dark sections.
