Question: Bilstein vs. Sachs shocks for W209 CLK350 2007

My CLK is going to need new shocks soon (current rears are making noise when going through a bump), and wanted to ask about your experience with either Bilstein or Sachs... knowing that Sachs was OE; also, has anyone only changed the rear shocks?

OE Bilstein B4 are slightly uprated so have extra reserves of damping .

Thank you both, and thanks for adding the previous thread... I will probably go with Bilsteins B6 since the Sachs are very expensive, and want to keep the suspension feeling “sporty”... I’ll let everyone know once I install the new set.

I did the Einstein B-12 . They come with Eibach lowering springs . I did notice they where a bit of a harder ride but cornering is amazing . It all depends on what you want your car to do . If your just looking for OEM Feel these are not for you .
